Dr. Patty Von Steen is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 34 years of experience working with adult men and women, college students, adolescents (ages 15 - 18), couples and families. She specializes in the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but blends that with other approaches that focus on mindfulness, acceptance, motivation, solutions, insight and systems. She believes that the most important aspect of counseling is the therapeutic relationship. Her style is warm, engaging, straightforward and interactive. She wants to help you identify and build on your strengths and explore new ways of coping, thinking, acting and interacting with others.
